One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:In that house where the Praises of the Creator are chanted and contemplated-in that house, sing Songs of Praise; meditate and remember the Creator Lord. ||1||
Sing the Songs of Praise of my Fearless Lord.I am a sacrifice to that Song of Praise which brings eternal peace. ||1|| Pause ||
Day after day, He cares for His beings; the Great Giver over all.Your Gifts cannot be appraised; how can anyone compare to the Giver? ||2||
The day of my wedding is pre-ordained. Come, gather together and pour the oil over the threshold.My friends, give me your blessings, that I may merge with my Lord and Master. ||3||
Unto each and every home, into each and every heart, this summons is sent out; the call comes each and every day.Remember in meditation the One who summons us; O Nanak, that day is drawing near! ||4||1||
Hindi mai Translation (हिंदी अनुवाद)
सोहिला रागु गउड़ी दीपकी महला १
ईश्वर एक है, जिसे सतगुरु की कृपा से पाया जा सकता है।जिस सत्संगति में निरंकार की कीर्ति का गान होता है तथा करतार के गुणों का विचार किया जाता है;उसी सत्संगति रूपी घर में जाकर सृष्टि रचयिता के यश का गायन करो और उसी का सिमरन करो॥ १॥
हे मानव ! तुम उस भय-रहित मेरे वाहिगुरु की प्रशंसा के गीत गाओ।साथ में यह कहो कि मैं उस सतिगुरु पर बलिहार जाता हूँ। जिसका सिमरन करने से सदैव सुखों की प्राप्ति होती है॥ १॥ रहाउ॥
हे मानव जीव ! जो पालनहार ईश्वर नित्य-प्रति अनेकानेक जीवों का पोषण कर रहा है, वह तुम पर भी अपनी कृपा-दृष्टि करेगा।उस ईश्वर द्वारा प्रदत्त पदार्थों का कोई मूल्य नहीं है, क्योंकि वे तो अनन्त हैं।॥ २॥
इस लोक से जाने के लिए साहे-पत्र रूपी संदेश संवत्-दिन आदि लिख कर नियत किया हुआ है, इसलिए वाहिगुरु से मिलाप के लिए अन्य सत्संगियों के साथ मिलकर तेल डालने का शगुन कर लो। अर्थात् - मृत्यु रूपी विवाह होने से पूर्व शुभ-कर्म कर लो ।हे मित्रो ! अब शुभाशीष दो कि सतिगुरु से मिलाप हो जाए॥ ३॥
प्रत्येक घर में इस साहे-पत्र को भेजा जा रहा, नित्य यह संदेश किसी न किसी घर पहुँच रहा है। (नित्य ही कोई न कोई मृत्यु को प्राप्त हो रहा है।)श्री गुरु नानक देव जी कथन करते हैं कि हे जीव ! मृत्यु का निमंत्रण भेजने वाले को स्मरण कर, क्योंकि वह दिन निकट आ रहे हैं ॥ ४॥ १॥
