Siree Raag, Third Mehl: O Dear Lord, You are the Truest of the True. All things are in Your Power. The 8.4 million species of beings wander around searching for You, but without the Guru, they do not find You. When the Dear Lord grants His Forgiveness, this human body finds lasting peace. By Guru's Grace, I serve the True One, who is Immeasurably Deep and Profound. ||1|| O my mind, attuned to the Naam, you shall find peace. Follow the Guru's Teachings, and praise the Naam; there is no other at all. ||1|| Pause || The Righteous Judge of Dharma, by the Hukam of God's Command, sits and administers True Justice. Those evil souls, ensnared by the love of duality, are subject to Your Command. Countless meditations, countless loves.Countless worship services, countless austere disciplines.Countless scriptures, and ritual recitations of the Vedas.Countless Yogis, whose minds remain detached from the world.Countless devotees contemplate the Wisdom and Virtues of the Lord.Countless the holy, countless the givers.Countless heroic spiritual warriors, who bear the brunt of the attack in battle (who with their mouths eat steel).Countless silent sages, vibrating the String of His Love.How can Your Creative Potency be described?I cannot even once be a sacrifice to You.Whatever pleases You is the only good done,You, Eternal and Formless One. ||17||

Hindi Translation (हिंदी अनुवाद)

इस सृष्टि में असंख्य लोग उस सृजनहार का जाप करते हैं, असंख्य ही उसको प्रीत करने वाले हैं।असंख्य उसकी अर्चना करते हैं, असंख्य तपी तपस्या कर रहे है।असंख्य लोग धार्मिक ग्रंथों व वेदों आदि का मुंह द्वारा पाठ कर रहे हैं।असंख्य ही योग-साधना में लीन रह कर मन को आसक्तियों से मुक्त रखते हैं।असंख्य ऐसे भक्तजन हैं जो उस गुणी निरंकार के गुणों को विचार कर ज्ञान की उपलब्धि करते हैं।असंख्य सत्य को जानने वाले अथवा परमार्थ-पथ पर चलने वाले तथा दानी सज्जन हैं।असंख्य शूरवीर रणभूमि में शत्रु का सामना करते हुए शस्त्रों की मार सहते हैं।असंख्य मानव जीव मौन धारण करके एकाग्रचित होकर उस अकाल-पुरुष में लिवलीन रहते हैं।इसलिए मुझ में इतनी बुद्धि कहाँ कि मैं उस अकथनीय प्रभु की समर्था का विचार कर सकूं।हे अनन्त स्वरूप ! मैं तुझ पर एक बार भी कुर्बान होने के लायक नहीं हूँ।जो तुझे भला लगता है वही कार्य श्रेष्ठ है।हे निरंकार ! हे पारब्रह्म ! तू सदा शाश्वत रूप हैं।॥ १७ ॥
