Siree Raag, Third Mehl: O Dear Lord, You are the Truest of the True. All things are in Your Power. The 8.4 million species of beings wander around searching for You, but without the Guru, they do not find You. When the Dear Lord grants His Forgiveness, this human body finds lasting peace. By Guru's Grace, I serve the True One, who is Immeasurably Deep and Profound. ||1|| O my mind, attuned to the Naam, you shall find peace. Follow the Guru's Teachings, and praise the Naam; there is no other at all. ||1|| Pause || The Righteous Judge of Dharma, by the Hukam of God's Command, sits and administers True Justice. Those evil souls, ensnared by the love of duality, are subject to Your Command. Aasaa, Fourth Mehl:

You are the True Creator, my Lord and Master.Whatever pleases You comes to pass. As You give, so do we receive. ||1|| Pause ||

All belong to You, all meditate on you.Those who are blessed with Your Mercy obtain the Jewel of the Naam, the Name of the Lord.The Gurmukhs obtain it, and the self-willed manmukhs lose it.The Gurmukhs obtain it, and the self-willed manmukhs lose it.You Yourself separate them from Yourself, and You Yourself reunite with them again. ||1||

You are the River of Life; all are within You.There is no one except You.All living beings are Your playthings.The separated ones meet, and by great good fortune, those suffering in separation are reunited once again. ||2||

They alone understand, whom You inspire to understand;They continually chant and repeat the Lord's Praises.Those who serve You find peace.They are intuitively absorbed into the Lord's Name. ||3||

Hindi Translation (हिंदी अनुवाद)

हे निरंकार ! तुम ही सृजनहार हो, सत्यस्वरूप हो और मेरे मालिक हो।जो तुम्हें भला लगता है वही होता है, जो तुम देते हो वही मैं प्राप्त करता हूँ॥ १॥ रहाउ ॥

सम्पूर्ण सृष्टि तुम्हारी पैदा की हुई है, तुम्हें सभी जीवों ने स्मरण किया है।किंतु जिन पर तुम्हारी दया होती है, उन्होंने ही तुम्हारा नाम रूपी रत्न-पदार्थ प्राप्त किया है।यह नाम-रत्न श्रेष्ठ साधक पा जाते हैं और स्वेच्छाचारी मनुष्य इसे गंवा बैठते हैं।तुम स्वयं ही विच्छन्न करते हो और स्वयं ही सम्मिलित करते हो। ॥ १॥

हे परमेश्वर ! तुम नदी हो, सारा प्रपंच तुझ में ही तरंग रूप है।तुम्हारे अतिरिक्त अन्य कोई भी नहीं है।सृष्टि के सभी छोटे-बड़े जीव तुम्हारा ही कौतुक है।वियोगी कर्मों के कारण जो तुम में लीन था, वह विछुड़ गया और संयोग के कारण विछुड़ा हुआ तुम से आ मिला है; अर्थात् तुम्हारी कृपा से जिन्हें सत्संगति प्राप्त नहीं हुई वे तुम से अलग हो गए और जिन्हें संतों का संग मिल गया उन्हें तुम्हारी भक्ति प्राप्त हो गई॥ २॥

हे परमात्मा ! जिसे तुम गुरु द्वारा ज्ञान प्रदान करते हो वही इस विधि को जान सकता है। फिर वही सदैव तेरे गुणों का व्याख्यान करता है।फिर वही सदैव तेरे गुणों का व्याख्यान करता है।जिन्होंने उस अकाल पुरुष का सिमरन किया है, उन्होंने आत्मिक सुखों की प्राप्ति की है।फिर वह परम पुरुष सरलता से ही प्रभु-नाम में समाहित हो जाता है॥ ३॥
