This is righteous living in the realm of Dharma.And now we speak of the realm of spiritual wisdom.So many winds, waters and fires; so many Krishnas and Shivas.So many Brahmas, fashioning forms of great beauty, adorned and dressed in many colors.So many worlds and lands for working out karma. So very many lessons to be learned!So many Indras, so many moons and suns, so many worlds and lands.So many Siddhas and Buddhas, so many Yogic masters. So many goddesses of various kinds.So many demi-gods and demons, so many silent sages. So many oceans of jewels.So many ways of life, so many languages. So many dynasties of rulers.So many intuitive people, so many selfless servants. O Nanak, His limit has no limit! ||35||

In the realm of wisdom, spiritual wisdom reigns supreme.The Sound-current of the Naad vibrates there, amidst the sounds and the sights of bliss.In the realm of humility, the Word is Beauty.Forms of incomparable beauty are fashioned there.These things cannot be described.One who tries to speak of these shall regret the attempt.The intuitive consciousness, intellect and understanding of the mind are shaped there.The consciousness of the spiritual warriors and the Siddhas, the beings of spiritual perfection, are shaped there. ||36||

Hindi Translation (हिंदी अनुवाद)

(कर्मकाण्ड में) धर्मखण्ड का यही नियम है; जो पूर्व पंक्तियों में कथन किया गया है।(गुरु नानक जी) अब ज्ञान खण्ड का व्यवहार वर्णन करते हैं।(इस संसार में) कितने प्रकार के पवन, जल, अग्नि हैं, और कितने ही रूप कृष्ण व रुद्र (शिव) के हैं।कितने ही ब्रह्मा इस सृष्टि में अनेकानेक रूप-रंगों के भेष में जीव पैदा करते हैं।कितनी ही कर्म भूमियों, सुमेर पर्वत, धुव भक्त व उनके उपदेष्टा हैं।इन्द्र व चंद्रमा भी कितने हैं, कितने ही सूर्य, कितने ही मण्डल व मण्डलांतर्गत देश हैं।कितने ही सिद्ध, विद्वान व नाथ हैं, कितने ही देवियों के स्वरूप हैं।कितने ही देव, दैत्य व मुनि हैं और रत्नों से भरपूर कितने ही समुद्र हैं।कितने ही उत्पत्ति के स्रोत हैं (अण्डज-जरायुजादि), कितनी प्रकार की वाणी है (परा, पश्यन्ती आदि) कितने ही बादशाह हैं और कितने ही राजा हैं।कितनी ही वेद-श्रुतियाँ हैं, उनके सेवक भी कितने ही हैं, गुरु नानक जी कहते हैं कि उसकी रचना का कोई अन्त नहीं है; इन सबके अन्त का बोध ज्ञान-खण्ड में जाने से होता है, जहाँ पर जीव ज्ञानयान हो जाता है॥ ३५ ॥

ज्ञान खण्ड में जो ज्ञान कथन किया है वह प्रबल है।इस खण्ड में रागमयी, प्रसन्नतापूर्ण व कौतुकी आनंद विद्यमान है।(श्रम खंड में परमेश्वर की भक्ति को प्रभुख माना गया है) परमेश्वर की भक्ति करने का उद्यम करने वाले संतजनों की वाणी मधुर है।वहाँ (श्रम खण्ड में) पर अद्वितीय सुन्दरता वाले स्वरूप की गढ़न की जाती है।उनकी बातों का कथन नहीं किया जा सकता।यदि कोई उनकी महिमा कथन करने की चेष्टा करता भी है तो उसे बाद में पछताना पड़ता है।वहाँ पर वेद-श्रुति, ज्ञान, मन और बुद्धि गढ़े जाते हैं।वहाँ पर दिव्य बुद्धि वाले देवों व सिद्ध अवस्था की प्राप्ति वाली सूझ गढ़ी जाती है॥ ३६॥
