Siree Raag, Third Mehl: O Dear Lord, You are the Truest of the True. All things are in Your Power. The 8.4 million species of beings wander around searching for You, but without the Guru, they do not find You. When the Dear Lord grants His Forgiveness, this human body finds lasting peace. By Guru's Grace, I serve the True One, who is Immeasurably Deep and Profound. ||1|| O my mind, attuned to the Naam, you shall find peace. Follow the Guru's Teachings, and praise the Naam; there is no other at all. ||1|| Pause || The Righteous Judge of Dharma, by the Hukam of God's Command, sits and administers True Justice. Those evil souls, ensnared by the love of duality, are subject to Your Command. Countless names, countless places.Inaccessible, unapproachable, countless celestial realms.Even to call them countless is to carry the weight on your head.From the Word, comes the Naam; from the Word, comes Your Praise.From the Word, comes spiritual wisdom, singing the Songs of Your Glory.From the Word, come the written and spoken words and hymns.From the Word, comes destiny, written on one's forehead.But the One who wrote these Words of Destiny-no words are written on His Forehead.As He ordains, so do we receive.The created universe is the manifestation of Your Name.Without Your Name, there is no place at all.How can I describe Your Creative Power?I cannot even once be a sacrifice to You.Whatever pleases You is the only good done,You, Eternal and Formless One. ||19||

Hindi Translation (हिंदी अनुवाद)

उस सृजनहार की सृष्टि में असंख्य ही नाम तथा असंख्य ही स्थान वाले जीव विचरन कर रहे हैं; अथवा इस सृष्टि में अकाल-पुरुष के अनेकानेक नाम हैं तथा अनेकानेक ही स्थान हैं, जहाँ पर परमात्मा का वास रहता है।असंख्य ही अकल्पनीय लोक हैं।किन्तु जो मनुष्य उसकी रचना का गणित करते हुए 'असंख्य' शब्द का प्रयोग करते हैं उनके सिर पर भी भार पड़ता है।शब्दों द्वारा ही उस निरंकार के नाम को जपा जा सकता है, शब्दों से ही उसका गुणगान किया जा सकता है।परमात्मा के गुणों का ज्ञान भी शब्दों द्वारा हो सकता है तथा उसकी प्रशंसा भी शब्दों द्वारा ही कही जा सकती है।शब्दों द्वारा ही उसकी वाणी को लिखा व बोला जा सकता है।शब्दों द्वारा मस्तिष्क पर लिखे गए कर्मों को बताया जा सकता है।किन्तु जिस निरंकार ने यह कर्म लेख लिखे हैं उसके मस्तिष्क पर कोई कर्म-लेख नहीं है; अर्थात्-उसके कर्मों को न तो कोई कह सकता है और न उनका हिसाब रख सकता है।अकाल-पुरुष जिस प्रकार मनुष्य के कर्मों के अनुसार आदेश करता है, वैसे ही वह अपने कर्मों को भोगता है।सृजनहार ने इस सृष्टि का जितना प्रसार किया है, वह समस्त नाम-रूप ही है।कोई भी स्थान उसके नाम से रिक्त नहीं है।इसलिए मुझ में इतनी बुद्धि कहाँ कि मैं उस अकथनीय प्रभु की समर्था का विचार कर सकूं।हे अनन्त स्वरूप ! मैं तुझ पर एक बार भी क़ुर्बान होने के लायक नहीं हूँ।जो तुझे भला लगता है वही कार्य श्रेष्ठ है।हे निरंकार ! हे पारब्रह्म ! तू सदा शाश्वत रूप हैं।॥ १९ ॥
