Siree Raag, Third Mehl: O Dear Lord, You are the Truest of the True. All things are in Your Power. The 8.4 million species of beings wander around searching for You, but without the Guru, they do not find You. When the Dear Lord grants His Forgiveness, this human body finds lasting peace. By Guru's Grace, I serve the True One, who is Immeasurably Deep and Profound. ||1|| O my mind, attuned to the Naam, you shall find peace. Follow the Guru's Teachings, and praise the Naam; there is no other at all. ||1|| Pause || The Righteous Judge of Dharma, by the Hukam of God's Command, sits and administers True Justice. Those evil souls, ensnared by the love of duality, are subject to Your Command. The state of the faithful cannot be described.One who tries to describe this shall regret the attempt.No paper, no pen, no scribeCan record the state of the faithful.Such is the Name of the Immaculate Lord.Only one who has faith comes to know such a state of mind. ||12||

The faithful have intuitive awareness and intelligence.The faithful know about all worlds and realms.The faithful shall never be struck across the face.The faithful do not have to go with the Messenger of Death.Such is the Name of the Immaculate Lord.Only one who has faith comes to know such a state of mind. ||13||

Hindi Translation (हिंदी अनुवाद)

उस अकाल पुरुष का नाम सुनने के पश्चात उसे मानने वाले अर्थात् उसे अपने हृदय में बसाने वाले मनुष्य की अवस्था कथन नहीं की जा सकती।जो भी उसकी अवस्था का बखान करता है तो उसे अंत में पछताना पड़ता है क्योंकि यह सच कर लेना सरल नहीं है, ऐसी कोई रसना नहीं जो नाम से प्राप्त होने वाले आनन्द का रहस्योद्घाटन कर सके।ऐसी अवस्था को यदि लिखा भी जाए तो इसके लिए न कागज़ है, न कलम और न ही लिखने वाला कोई जिज्ञासु,जो वाहिगुरु में लिवलीन होने वाले का विचार कर सकें।परमात्मा का नाम सर्वश्रेष्ठ व मायातीत है।यदि कोई उसे अपने हृदय में बसा कर उसका चिन्तन करे॥ १२ ॥

परमात्मा का नाम सुनकर उसका चिन्तन करने से मन और बुद्धि में उत्तम प्रीति पैदा हो जाती है।चिन्तन करने से सम्पूर्ण सृष्टि का ज्ञान-बोध होता है।चिन्तन करने वाला मनुष्य कभी सांसारिक कष्टों अथवा परलोक में यमों के दण्ड का भोगी नहीं होता।चिन्तनशील मनुष्य अंतकाल में यमों के साथ नरकों में नहीं जाता, बल्कि देवगणों के साथ स्वर्ग-लोक को जाता है।परमात्मा का नाम बहुत ही श्रेष्ठ एवं मायातीत है।यदि कोई उसे अपने हृदय में लीन करके उसका चिन्तन करे॥ १३॥
