Siree Raag, Third Mehl: O Dear Lord, You are the Truest of the True. All things are in Your Power. The 8.4 million species of beings wander around searching for You, but without the Guru, they do not find You. When the Dear Lord grants His Forgiveness, this human body finds lasting peace. By Guru's Grace, I serve the True One, who is Immeasurably Deep and Profound. ||1|| O my mind, attuned to the Naam, you shall find peace. Follow the Guru's Teachings, and praise the Naam; there is no other at all. ||1|| Pause || The Righteous Judge of Dharma, by the Hukam of God's Command, sits and administers True Justice. Those evil souls, ensnared by the love of duality, are subject to Your Command.  Bilaaval, Third Mehl:

How can the unweighable be weighed? If there is anyone else as great, then he alone could understand the Lord. There is no other than Him. How can His value be estimated? ||1||

By Guru's Grace, He comes to dwell in the mind. One comes to know Him, when duality departs. ||1|| Pause ||

He Himself is the Assayer, applying the touch-stone to test it. He Himself analyzes the coin, and He Himself approves it as currency. He Himself weights it perfectly. He alone knows; He is the One and Only Lord. ||2||

All the forms of Maya emanate from Him. He alone becomes pure and immaculate, who is united with the Lord. He alone is attached, whom the Lord attaches. All Truth is revealed to him, and then, he merges in the True Lord. ||3||

He Himself leads the mortals to focus on Him, and He Himself causes them to chase after Maya. He Himself imparts understanding, and He reveals Himself. He Himself is the True Guru, and He Himself is the Word of the Shabad. O Nanak, He Himself speaks and teaches. ||4||2||


Hindi Translation (हिंदी अनुवाद)


बिलावलु महला ३ ॥

परमात्मा अतुलनीय है, फिर उसे कैसे तोला जा सकता है ? यदि कोई दूसरा उस जैसा हो तो ही वह उसकी सूझ डाले। सत्य तो यही है कि उसके सिवा दूसरा कोई नहीं है। अतः उसकी कीमत कैसे आंकी जाए॥ १॥

गुरु की कृपा से वह मन में आकर बस जाता है और उसे वही जानता है, जिसकी दुविधा दूर हो जाती है। १ ॥ रहाउ ॥

परमात्मा स्वयं ही सर्राफ है और स्वयं ही जीवों को परखने के लिए कसौटी लगाता है। वह स्वयं उनके गुण-अवगुण की परख करके सन्मार्ग पर चलाता है। वही पूर्ण होता है, जिसे वह स्वयं तोलता है और एक परमात्मा ही सबकुछ जानता है॥ २॥

यह जगत् माया का रूप है और सभी जीव उससे ही उत्पन्न हुए हैं। जिसे वह अपने साथ मिला लेता है, वह निर्मल हो जाता है। जिसे वह माया का मोह लगता है वह उसे ही आकर लग जाती है। जब वह अपना सत्यस्वरूप दिखाता है तो जीव उस सत्य में ही विलीन हो जाता है।॥ ३॥

वह स्वयं ही वृति है और स्वयं ही माया है। वह स्वयं ही जीव को सूझ प्रदान करता है और स्वयं ही जीव रूप में अपना नाम जपता रहता है। वह स्वयं ही सतगुरु है और स्वयं ही शब्द है! हे नानक ! ईश्वर स्वयं ही कहकर जीवों को अपना नाम सुनाता है॥ ४ ॥ २॥
